The site is 0.89 Ha is size and located within a residential area of North Bristol. South Gloucestershire Council have held the site for several years and allocated it as a school site. With the recent redevelopment of the former Frenchay Hospital a site for a 420-place primary school site has now come forward so allowing this site to be used for residential redevelopment.
South Gloucestershire Council have undertaken an initial capacity study on the site, see appendix 1, and concluded that the site has capacity for around 26 units. Their planning policy requires sites to provide 35% affordable housing. |
