releases/0/tender/description | A master planner is to be appointed by Newcastle University to prepare the masterplan and obtain outline planning permission for the site. The masterplan will, through stakeholder engagement and working with the business development consultant (to be appointed by a separate procurement exercise), generate zoning and indicative space requirements for the proposed clusters. These are: Newcastle University Academic Zone, Discovery Crucible, Spectrum of Independence, Integrated Health Hub (NHS), NHS Walk In Centre (existing), residential/commercial zone. The appointed design team will need to develop a masterplan for the full site taking into account the various site ownerships and stakeholder requirements. The service is for the development of the master plan. |
