Description
The final date and time for the submission of bids is Monday 22nd June 2020 at 11:00 DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal. Brief Description of Requirement The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), which is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), is commissioning a scoping study to inform the creation of an in-country China Hub designed to facilitate UK-China research-industry collaboration in the creative industries. This hub will establish a platform from which to drive collaborative R&D activity in the creative industries between the UK and China, encompassing Shanghai as the region driving China's creative industries growth but also looking beyond this to ensure the hub supports work with other key regions in China. The main expected output is a detailed report proposing an options analysis and feasibility study for the hub model. It is anticipated that this report will broadly comprise desk-based research, interviews with a range of stakeholders, expected to include organisations working in a broad range of fields within the creative industries in both the UK and China such as SMEs, major cultural content providers and cultural heritage organisations, as well as researchers working within relevant academic fields, and on the ground scoping activity. However, applicants may propose other mechanisms and methodologies for carrying out this work, particularly given the expectation that this study will be conducted and delivered over a period likely to be disrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement. All attachments can be found with the Document Uploads tab within the Delta eSourcing Portal.
