Description
Waverley Borough Council is seeking to appoint a fully licensed, insured and experienced drone photography firm that can offer its Housing Development Team a flexible, professional and high quality service. The council has undertaken an increasing volume of affordable home development, mainly on its own land / sites. Such development takes place in "full view" of its stakeholders that include residents, tenants, the surrounding community and its councillors and those officers involved in the day-to-day management of such projects. Over the last three years, drone photography providing still images, panoramic views and latterly interactive web-based footage has proved extremely useful and powerful marketing and project management tool. Images, such as those reproduced below, can in a single shot convey the scale and quality of the council's developments. Such images have been used for a bi-monthly newsletter; to identify boundary and adjacency issues and to support planning applications, consultancy procurement and a wide range of correspondence. The council is now looking to renew an existing 3-year appointment for a further three years with a drone photography firm and develop this approach to council media engagement. This tender is to be completed electronically using the SE Shared Services Procurement eSourcing portal. https://www.sesharedservices.org.uk/esourcing/opportunities The SE Shared Services eSourcing portal provides a web-based tool that provides a simple, secure and efficient means for managing tendering and quotation activities reducing the time and effort required for both buyers and Potential Bidders. These requirements are set out in detail below. It is expected that tenderers will be fully licensed and where applicable hold the latest industry-recognised accreditation and insurance levels.
